The WRPA has been in constant contact with the Welsh Rugby Union, Cardiff Rugby, the Scarlets and players regarding the welfare of our members since the discovery of the Omicron Variant. Our Professional Development Managers are providing daily contact to our members, supporting them in any way they can.
James King, Chief Executive (interim) of The Welsh Rugby Players Association (The WRPA), said:
“This is an incredibly difficult time for players, staff and their families. All parties are working hard on the urgent repatriation of Cardiff Rugby and continuing the support to the Scarlets which must be the top priorities from a welfare perspective."
